License
FolderLock is licensed, not sold. Purchasing or downloading the software grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application on your personal devices.
Permitted Use
You may use FolderLock for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, modify, or commercially exploit the software without permission.
Intellectual Property
FolderLock, its branding, interface design, source code, graphics, and related assets remain the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated.
Acceptable Use
Users may not use FolderLock for unlawful activities, unauthorized access, malicious behavior, or distribution of harmful content.
Software Updates
FolderLock may receive updates, bug fixes, or feature improvements periodically. Future updates and features are provided at the developer’s discretion.
No Warranty
FolderLock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While reasonable effort is made to ensure reliability, the developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
User Responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of important files and data. FolderLock modifies local folder permissions and should be used responsibly.
Limitation of Liability
The developer shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use FolderLock, including data loss, permission-related issues, or software conflicts.
Payments & Refunds
Payments are securely processed through Lemon Squeezy. FolderLock currently uses a pay-what-you-want pricing model with a minimum purchase amount. Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Third-Party Services
FolderLock and its website may include links or integrations with third-party services such as Lemon Squeezy or Buy Me a Coffee. These services operate independently under their own terms and privacy policies.
Termination
The license granted to users may be terminated if these terms are violated.
Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the software after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
